Many sources are reporting that Britney Spears will be one of the 100 artists involved in thr 25th anniversary remade version of the song “We Are The World,” which aims at raising money for Haiti.

The original song was first played in 1985, when Ms Spears was just 4 years old, and was written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie. It was purposed for raising money for famine in Africa. The song sold very well managing to earn more than $63 millions.

The new version is recorded and produced by Mr Richie himself, along with Quincy Jones.

The song will be premiered on Friday, February 12th, during the opening ceremony of the Winter 2010 Olympics.
