BritBrit talks about her new year’s resolution!

Now that the tour has come to an end, Britney would like to work out and stay in shape this year. She says working out three times a week is her key to keeping in shape.

“I’m very big on being healthy and working out three times a week. I go to bed early and get my beauty sleep. I also drink lots of water to keep my body hydrated. It takes me an hour-and-a-half to get ready for a red carpet event. I usually take a shower, wash my hair, blow my hair out and have a cup of coffee.

“Then I’ll have my make-up artist come in and we’ll decided on what we want to go for – a soft or sinister style! From there we look at the wardrobe and see if it makes sense, And then we through the process of getting ready, which is the funnest part.”

Staying healthy and trimmed is great. Good job, Brit!

Britney Spears may be a pop-star diva to the rest of the world, but to beau Jason Trawick, “she’s his everyday princess,” says celebrity jeweler Neil Lane, who designed Spears’s dazzling engagement ring to befit Trawick’s vision of the singer’s down-home regality. “Jason is a romantic and when I asked him to tell me about Britney and what the ring would represent to them so I could find inspiration, his response was always the same — she is his princess!”

With that theme in mind, Lane tells PEOPLE he designed from scratch a tiara-motif sparkler with a round, perfect white diamond in a handmade platinum setting that “looks like a mini crown,” the celebrated jeweler says. He also added 90 small round diamonds around the eternity band. “Jason didn’t want an over-the-top ring with a giant stone,” he adds.

Over the last month, Lane and Trawick clocked phone and email minutes as they collaborated while Trawick was traveling with Spears on her global tour. “Texts came from all over the world, from Abu Dhabi, Mexico and I don’t know where else!” says Lane.

But when Trawick stopped into Lane’s Los Angeles store to pick up the ring — less than one week before the proposal! — they both knew the hard work and scheming had paid off. “Oh my god, he loved it,” Lane shares, adding that he could tell Trawick had pre-proposal jitters. “The guy was so excited and nervous. At the end of the day, even with all the fame, he’s still a normal guy who was about to propose to the woman he loves.”

That said, Lane believes this couple is in it for the long haul. “He’s deeply in love with her. Britney is his princess and he is her knight in shining armor,” he says. “Jason’s protective of her. He adores her. Every good fairytale needs a princess, and now Britney has a ring fit for a princess!”

Britney and Jason had their family celebrations at Planet Hollywood Resort and Paris Las Vegas venues on Friday.

After the official announcement reception at PH, they held their engagement dinner in the Chocolate Lounge at Sugar Factory in the Paris Las Vegas before heading upstairs to the dance party at Château Nightclub & Gardens.

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick are officially engaged!!!

Our girl tweeted the following during Jason’s b-day:

“OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I’ve been waiting for. Can’t wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!! Xxo”

“This is something they’ve both wanted for a long time,” a source told Us Weekly.

“It’s a way to cement their family. They’re both extremely happy and can’t wait to become man and wife.”

Jason confirmed the engagement. He proposed during his 40th birthday! God down on his knee and everything.

“Yes, we are engaged,” he told Access Hollywood. “(I’m) over the moon, as [is] she.”

YAY! Congratulations! I’m so happy for them.

Britney Jean Spears, a mother of two, a daughter, a sister and an idol to millions of fans around the world, turns 30 today. Massive hit singles, amazing fan-satisfying music videos, a great album, and a spectacular world tour that captivated so many old and new fans. This year has definitely been the year of the Spears.

Check out the premiere of the Femme Fatale tour in Time Square last night. Loads of fans attended the event. Looks awesome!

Fans are pissed because the Femme Fatale special that aired on Epix last night had an audio dubbed into it. But according to Epix, it was a creative decision Britney Spears made herself. They tweeted the following:

“Hey guys, we’re so excited about Brit’s concert special but the audio was a creative decision made by the artist. Hope you enjoy the show!!!”

Then why did they deny it at first?
